Artichoke Heart Hummus with Chick Peas

Ingredients

6 cloves
garlic, crushed
1
lemon, juiced
1 can
chick peas (15 oz can; drained)
1 can
artichoke hearts (drained, save liquid)
1⁄3 cup
sesame tahini
 
salt (to taste)
 
zest of lemon (to taste; optional)
1⁄2 cup
chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Process all ingredients except parsley in a blender until smooth. Add salt to taste. Add lemon zest if you want more zing. If it’s too thick, add some of the liquid from the artichoke hearts. Add the parsley toward the end so you can still see bits of green.  (Recipe♦133)
