A great replacement for maple syrup. We top lots of things with this including pizza and meat.

Ingredients
2 cups
frozen berries (mixed or single variety) 2 tablespoons
water 1⁄2 teaspoon
ground cloves 1⁄2 teaspoon
ground allspice 1 teaspoon
arrowroot (optional)Yields:
Instructions
Place the berries and spices in a pan. Add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Cook covered over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally; reduce heat when bubbling.If using arrowroot, mix equal parts cold water and arrowroot in a bowl, stir into pan to thicken. Remove sauce from heat and serve.Can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen. (Recipe #186)
