Breakfast Challenge Oatmeal

1⁄2 cup
rolled oats (not quick oats)
1 cup
water (or unsweetened coconut or almond milk)
1 teaspoon
coconut oil (or butter, or fat of choice )
1⁄4 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
chopped walnuts (optional)
1 tablespoon
hemp seeds (optional)
2 tablespoons
fresh blueberries (optional)


Combine oats, liquid and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. (Can be cooked in the microwave, covered for 3 minutes.) Stir in optional toppings. Let stand for 2 minutes before serving.
