Forbidden Rice

Ingredients

4 cups
forbidden rice (also known as black rice)
8 cups
vegetable broth
 
sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

Instructions

Place rice and broth in a pot. DO NOT STIR THE RICE! Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover with a lid. Allow the rice to cook until all of the liquid is gone. DO NOT REMOVE THE LID, UNTIL ALL OF THE LIQUID HAS BEEN ABSORBED BY THE RICE! Once the rice is done, season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
