3tangerines (peeled, seeded and chopped)
1⁄2 bunchfresh cilantro (chopped)
2 tablespoonsminced red onion or shallot
1 teaspoonmaple syrup or honey powder (optional)
2 teaspoonsgrated fresh ginger (optional)
Seed the pomegranates. (Seeding directions can be found here.) If you use the submerged method, drain well.
