Rubbed Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

head of cabbage
1 teaspoon
Celtic sea salt
1⁄2 cup
gomasio (toasted sesame seeds can also be used)
3 tablespoons
toasted sesame oil
1
lemon (juiced)

Instructions

Finely shred the cabbage in a processor. In two batches, combine salt and cabbage in a large bowl and massage the salt into the cabbage. Let sit for a few minutes. Drain off any water.  Combine the cabbage with the gomasio/sesame seeds, sesame oil and lemon juice, and serve.
