Sage Turkey Burgers

Description

Great go-to autoimmune paleo protein option.

Ingredients

1 pound
ground turkey breast
1⁄4 cup
finely diced apple
2 tablespoons
finely minced onion
2 tablespoons
finely minced fresh sage
1⁄2 teaspoon
finely minced fresh thyme
3 tablespoons
olive oil
1⁄2 teaspoon
sea salt
1⁄2 teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients, but only 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Make eight patties, and heat a pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Brown patties 3-4 minutes on each side on medium heat, until firm to touch. Store leftovers in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator up to 3 days, or freeze.
