Turmeric Avocado Salad Rub

Ingredients

fresh turmeric root (peeled and chopped)

fresh ginger root (peeled and chopped)
1⁄4 cup
almond butter
1
lemon (juiced)
1 clove
garlic
1
avocado
2 tablespoons
olive oil
1⁄2 teaspoon
salt (to taste)
 
ground pepper (to taste)
 
salad greens for 8

Instructions

Process everything but the greens until creamy. Add water in a thin stream as it blends to make it a consistency that you can rub into the greens, like hummus. Note that if you’re using very bitter greens, you may add 1 tsp of honey to the rub to cut the bitter taste.
