1 cupbasmati rice
3vegetable bouillon cubes
3saffron threads (to color rice)
Add water, bouillon cubes, and saffron to a large pot with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil. Pour in rice, cover, and return to a boil. Once boiling, turn heat down to low and allow to simmer 15 minutes. Drain excess water as needed.
